Dr Huibrie VersterHuibrie's love for choir singing and the development of her skills in this field began during her early student years (1964 - 1967) while she was under the direction of Philip McLachlan.

Although her other great love while she attended Stellenbosch University was Afrikaans literature, Huibrie decided to focus on music and has since been a dedicated music educator in the world of choir music.
